Japan Cat Network is a registered NPO that helps people help pets. We provide advice, support, materials and other information so that people can assist animals in need within their own community. JCN has helped to start hundreds of trap-neuter and return / rescue efforts throughout Japan. JCN runs two small no-kill shelters; one of which serves as a rescue base in response to the Tohoku disaster. We are committed to educating the public on the benefits of spay-neuter and we strongly support the no-kill movement.
JCN has been featured internationally and on Animal Planet’s Must Love Cats program. Dozens of articles and reports have been produced about JCN’s efforts.
